A unique partnership

Your success is our success

The Hotel School Sydney is a unique partnership between Southern Cross University and Mulpha Australia's hotel portfolio - Hayman, InterContinental Sydney, Hyatt RegencySanctuary Cove - plus Sanctuary Cove and Bimbadgen Estate Wines.

Paid work opportunities are an attractive feature of the program, as is its proximity to the five star InterContinental Sydney (adjacent). The school is positioned in the heart of the CBD, with the Harbour, Sydney Opera House and Botanical Gardens on its doorstep.

At inception in 1989, The Hotel School Sydney first operated as an integral part of InterContinental Sydney, but now, due to growth and demand, has close working relationships with many leading tourism organisations in Australia and around the world.

The program is focused on hotel operational skills, management practice in the tourism and hospitality industry and the skills needed for continued learning in a changing global business environment.

The Hotel School Sydney is renowned for:

  • Providing paid work opportunities integrated with university level education
  • Providing high potential graduates for employment
  • Teaching and learning excellence
  • Academic rigour
  • Strong industry links
  • Graduate success
