Session 3 2021 Orientation information – ALL campuses and online courses


Welcome to Orientation week at The Hotel School.
Orientation is a very important part of commencing your studies at The Hotel School. All new students are required to register and complete all areas of orientation prior to commencing your studies.

Orientation is in two parts:

Part 1 – Complete all sections on the Orientation platform (all students)

The orientation platform link will be sent to your personal email address. Please check your emails regularly; if you do not receive the link please contact us at

The platform will be open from October 5th -  November 12th.

It is advised that students complete the platform before the orientation day.

Part 2 – Attend the orientation on the days listed below

Sydney and Melbourne Campuses – Tuesday, October 26th (Face to face/ On campus session)

Brisbane and Hayman Island Campus – Wednesday, October 27th (Face to face/ On campus session)

Online Courses and Students Offshore - Thursday, October 28th (Zoom session)

To complete Orientation you need to complete all 3 steps listed below:

  1. Register for orientation – registration can be accessed via the orientation platform link
  2. Complete all sections on the orientation platform
  3. Attend the Orientation day

Our self-paced online orientation platform lets you explore your academic studies and the support services that can assist you throughout your degree.

Orientation will cover:

  • Academic studies, enrolment, unit selection and study plans
  • Online access and timetable
  • Academic support and library services
  • Student services, Career support, Health & Wellbeing programs and Student engagement activities
  • Student Association
  • Campus and contact information
