We have some very excited students from both our Melbourne and Sydney campuses who are counting down to the ultimate field trip – a week in Singapore! On August 16 they will fly out for an amazing week of accelerated learning with a cultural and culinary focus.
The 2019 Singapore Field Trip will see current students meeting with a network of The Hotel School alumni and our connections from a range of Asian properties. This will be a fabulous opportunity to discuss career progression and insights with our successful alumni in luxury hospitality in another continent.
Some of the incredible highlights planned for this field trip will see students watching a laser show at MBS (Marina Bay Sands) which is one of the most iconic hotels in the world as well as lunch at the Grand Hyatt and high tea at the Fullerton Hotel.
Students are in for a real feast of food related and tourism activities. They will visit the premier school of hospitality in Asia complete with a cooking session at the Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (SHATEC). The popular Tanjong Beach Club, the boutique Six Senses Duxton and Gallop Kranji Farm Resort will also feature on the busy itinerary for this field trip.
There is a much fun offer but also much learning, this field trip is designed to enhance all aspects of the students learning and hospitality knowledge through first-hand immersion.
