Things I Wish I Knew When I was Applying for Uni

When I was applying for university, I felt like time was running out and everyone else had it all figured out. These are the things I wish someone had told me…

You Still Have Time
When I was applying for university, I felt like everyone else had it all figured out and I was falling behind. What I wish someone had told me is that you still have time. Time to apply, time to ask questions, and time to work out if university is right for you.

Your ATAR Doesn’t Define You
There’s so much pressure around ATARs, but it’s only one part of your story. It doesn’t define your ability, your potential, or what you’re capable of achieving in the long run.

Applying Doesn’t Have to Be Hard
Before applying, I expected the process to be stressful and confusing. Instead, applying to The Hotel School was simple and supportive. I was treated like a person, not a number, and they looked beyond my grades to see my potential.

So if you’re feeling unsure or overwhelmed, take the time to explore your options and ask questions. The right university will support you, not pressure you!

If you’re curious about what studying at The Hotel School is really like, you can explore your own pathway here.
