“During her internship at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach Hotel, Tonya has shown a positivity and drive to learn and grow on a consistent daily basis that has been impressive. She was very diligent in making notes as she was learning the procedures of her Front Office department and then showed great initiative when she typed these to create a wonderful training resource, including an easy to use format complete with contents page and page number references that she made available for use for her fellow colleagues.
Tonya’s customer service skills are outstanding and she has consistently demonstrated an excellent ability to remain calm and friendly and remain an absolute pleasure to deal with whether interacting with guests or fellow colleagues, in both positive interactions and those that have been more challenging.
Whether you are passing her in a hallway, seeing her on the reception desk or she is transferring phone calls through to you, Tonya is always a pleasure to interact with. She is genuinely friendly, always smiling, polite and courteous. There have been days that have had immense pressure ranging from a high volume of guests checking in and out, to multiple and difficult guest complaints, and Tonya was an exemplary example of handling this with the utmost of maturity and calm, while maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.”
