For Imogen, choosing THSA was all about finding a place that offered more than theory.

She recalls attending an Industry Insights event as one of the standout moments in her THSA journey. The experience left a lasting impression, fuelling her passion for the industry and helping her build meaningful connections early on.
A Day in the Life
A typical day in Imogen’s Uni life strikes a balance between flexibility and engagement. With classes scheduled just two days a week, the timetable gives her space to juggle study, work and life without missing out on the full Uni experience.

But her involvement goes far beyond the classroom. As a Student Ambassador, Imogen plays a key role in welcoming new students and getting involved in campus events.
A Career in Progress
Outside of her studies, Imogen works as a Groups Coordinator at MSC Cruises, managing guest bookings and supporting travel agents across Australia and New Zealand. It’s a role that’s helping her build professional skills while still studying, from developing strong skills in communication, organisation, and multitasking.
Looking ahead, Imogen has her sights set on a career in luxury hotel event planning. Her dream internship would be at a high-end hotel or resort, where she could gain hands-on experience in guest services and operations while learning from the best.
Her goal? To be the creative force behind high-end experiences.
“My dream is to plan high-end events in a luxury hotel. I want to be behind the scenes making magic happen.”
Her advice to future students? Get involved. Ask questions. Say yes.
